“If you love a flower which happens to be on a star, it is sweet at night to gaze at the sky. All the stars are a riot of flowers.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
A field of wildflowers in a universe—a seemingly infinite array of light and color that somehow touches the same part in us that loves to stare at the stars. (Fun fact: In California, occasional "super bloom" wildflower seasons can even be seen from space!) This painting imagines wildflowers touching the stars, serving as sparks of light in the darkness.
This piece is part of the Wildflower Series. Each print has been meticulously color matched to the original painting.
These fine art giclée prints are printed by a woman-owned printshop in Portland, Oregon on museum-quality Hahnemüle cotton rag paper using archival ink (read more about the paper here). They will last well over 100 years without fading, making them true collectibles worth passing on.
