Reminder: Open to What is Here captures the relief of exhaling after you release the breath you didn’t know you were holding. I created this piece in April 2021, and it is infused with a reminder to open to whatever it is you are feeling in the moment.
I firmly believe that there are no “negative” emotions, and that all feelings have lessons to share if we make them feel like welcomed guests instead of unwanted intruders. My paintings are an invitation to let all emotions play a role in my creative process, and this painting can offer a path for you to do the same.
